PITTSBURGH, Feb. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- InventHelp, the largest invention company in America, is taking its Virtual Invention Browsing Experience (VIBE) to the 2018 Licensing Expo at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 22-24, 2018. This emerging technology for inventors is a state-of-the-art virtual viewing station which allows companies to privately view ideas from InventHelp clients.
These private, 46-inch touchscreen kiosks will feature over 1,400 exclusive new inventions available to be licensed, marketed, manufactured and more. The attendees of the Licensing Expo will be able to view, interact with and request more information on InventHelp client inventions in the VIBE platform. Company representatives looking for new ideas must sign a confidentiality and non-use agreement before viewing the inventions.
More than 16,000 attendees, including licensees, manufacturers and retailers attend the Las Vegas Licensing Expo looking for new products. According to their website, the Las Vegas Licensing Expo is the meeting place for the global licensing industry. "For more than 35 years, Licensing Expo has connected the world's most influential entertainment, character, art, and corporate brand owners and agents with consumer goods manufacturers, licensees and retailers," their website states.
Each invention in VIBE is displayed in a video containing a 3D rendering and computer-generated animation highlighting the main function or use of the client's invention. VIBE users can also touch, rotate and interact with the invention to get a sense of how it works and functions.
"VIBE is an exciting new technology that company representatives and licensors will really find user-friendly," said Matthew Tagliavia, Director of Marketing at InventHelp. "This virtual software has created a way to make viewing inventions in specific categories very accessible. Decision makers will be able to find products relevant to their industry very easily."
VIBE has been utilized at InventHelp's former invention trade show, INPEX, over the past three years, and now InventHelp is very excited to take it on the road.
"We implemented VIBE on a smaller scale first to test it out and make it as user-friendly and effective as possible," said Matthew Tagliavia. "Now, we feel like we've perfected the system, and it is ready to be presented on a larger scale."
Representatives from companies looking for new product ideas have given positive feedback about VIBE. "I saw multiple categories. I saw about 850 inventions, and I absolutely loved them, of which about 73 of them I asked for more information on," said Dara Trujillo, VP of Merchandise at HSN. "This is my first time interacting with VIBE, and I absolutely loved it. I think this is an incredible opportunity for entrepreneurs to get as many of their products as they can in front of key decision makers such as myself, and I absolutely loved this format. I only wish I could have it every single day of my life."
Joel Abbo, CEO of Caco America, LLC, also had positive things to say about VIBE. "I think the benefit an inventor would have from VIBE is that it would make it easier and faster for a company to look at the products, the way [VIBE] organized the benefits, the efficiency of the products, and the 3D image," said Mr. Abbo. "I went over more than 400 inventions in an hour and a half. You don't find this anywhere else. It is a great opportunity for inventors to put their product in VIBE."
Companies who participate in VIBE become members of InventHelp's Data Bank, which includes more than 9,000 companies that have agreed to review InventHelp client inventions in confidence. Companies registered in the InventHelp Data Bank cover a variety of fields and range in size from small to large corporations. The majority of our registrants are small- to medium-size companies. InventHelp is not aware of any other inventor services firm that has access to a similar Data Bank.
InventHelp clients who sign up to be included in VIBE also receive a video brochure containing their 3D animation so they can take it with them on-the-go. The Virtual Invention Brochure contains a 7-inch high-definition display screen, easy USB charging and video updating, and volume & play/pause buttons. It comes pre-loaded with two videos to make it easy for inventors to show their invention's function and use to friends, family or to company representatives.
